Apple's iOS 4 allows your iPhone to store location data constantly without you activating the feature. The unencrypted file where the data is stored was discovered and brought to light by software hackers. The data is stored on your computer when you sync it with your iPhone. There are two ways to access your iPhone's location data. One is much simpler than the other, but gives slightly less accurate data.
